Birthday

Well, today is my birthday, and I don’t feel any older. Les and Dave (co-workers) took me to lunch, so that was nice. I’m always down for free food. But this last Saturday was pretty fun.For my birthday, my family, Matt, Lynn, Jeff, Tracee, Jason and Sharmin and I went to the Rainforest Cafe in San Francisco for lunch. We had a great time. It’s always fun to me to watch people experience new things for the first time, especially if I have already been there and know what to expect. My sister and family had been to the Rainforest, but not to eat. Therefore they had never been to the 2nd and 3rd floors. They had a lot of fun, especially my niece and nephews.

Afterwards, my family had left to walk around the pier and do some shopping, while the rest of us went down to Market Street to the mall in San Francisco. After about 5-6 hours of shopping, I actually didn’t buy anything! That in itself is a miracle…But I plan on buying some clothes soon, maybe this Saturday. Overall, it was a lot of fun. I got 2 gift cards for Starbucks, both $25 each, so I am set for a while. I got some money, and other gift cards. But the best thing for me was just being around people that I care about and having a good time with them. That is most important to me.
