That's so cool. I love hearing stories of people that are getting back to the roots of the Christmas story. It's not an easy transition and is often misunderstood by the masses.

Every year we focus more on Christ and less on 'stuff'. This year we have NO shopping list or wish list of our own. We run Toys for Tots to help make the holiday nicer for other families and God always opens the door for us to share about Christ's love and mercy to those who come to us for toys. Sometimes the single moms just need a big hug, as they face divorce alone with no church family or support from their own families. Sometimes it's a dad who is embarrassed that he has to ask, because he lost his job so close to the holidays. It's a wonderful opportunity to let His Light shine.

I didn't realize you had a blog Brother Tony. Sorry we had to leave early the other night. We had family coming in from out of town and had to go. :O) (Monica's mom)
